    Re: Back Country Patterns

The hopper, copper, dropper set up is my go to. Grease lining a micro leach, scud, and or a midge is a close second. Streamers are also deadly if there's bait fish. Sometimes it's red hot and that'll...

No inspection needed for kayaks, SUP boards, float tubes and water toys. Just make sure they're dry before so you don't transport any invasive species.

Re: Walker, Owens & Sierra's report?

I just measured 24 1/2" on my back deck. It's a bummer that all the snow came and all the ski resorts are closed do to COVID 19.

Re: Walker, Owens & Sierra's report?

The East Walker fished really good last weekend for me. They bumped up the flows a week and a half ago for the alfalfa farmers in Nevada and they will be fluctuating though out the spring. As far as...

Good job! It's been a few weeks since I've been able to get out there and I'm chopping at the bit to get back out.

No they haven't. They still swim freely. They've tried several times to no avail and will try again this summer.

    Re: Pyramid 42 years later

We finally got checked last week for the first time in years. But all the tribal police where up a ways from us because of some drunk couple started fighting in the middle of the night. After dude...

    Re: Santa Cruz in April

The surf perch fishing should be good if you know where to go to find the good water. My favorite bait is 2" GULP sandworms in camo pattern and your set up is just fine. Also there's nothing wrong...

    Re: How is Pyramid doing?

Business is picking up for sure. We got onto them early morning and late afternoon with a few mid day. Big one was almost 15# and a dozen or so between 5#-8#. Beatles and buggers!

    Re: How is Pyramid doing?

It's been slower the last few weeks for me. The last time I went I fished two different spots for a skunk not even a bite. Most of my fish this year have been on beatles with some on buggers and...
  15. Re: Anyone know of any lakes that might have a sturgeon or two swimming around?

In my younger wilder days when I would frequently go to the bars after work. I was talking to a drunken angler at a bar up here on South Lake and he told me in a slurried sentence that him and his...

    Re: Pyramid 1/28 1/29

Thanks guys that's why we keep going there 10# fish are a normal occurrence and anything 6# and under is somewhat a dissapointment for Pyramid. The best thing is we have "our secluded spots" with no...

No way that is a brown! I don't know where it was caught but it's definitely a resident rainbow or inland steelhead.
