Yes the kokes are stunted from being overly successful spawning and avg 8-9" (perfect snacking size for the browns). Occasionally they do get to around 12-13" but that is pretty rare. The two main areas they like to school are near where the main creek flows into the lake (west end) and near the east end of the lake. Like clockwork, they will be between 0-40' in the morning, move to 100' during the day and then back to 0-40' in the evening. They are aggressive and when schooled up, will easily hit a jig. Be carefully though, I have had a few times where I was reeling up a koke a little slow and a big brown came up and took a swipe at it.

Twin Lakes Bridgeport Kokanee - Late Video Report

I was at Upper Twin Lake this last August and we caught a few kokanee, but they were all very small. Wasn't the greatest day fishing so I was in no rush to put the video together. We were catching them around 60 feet down with lake trolls and small lures. They are pretty aggressive for kokanee taking larger lures than I thought they would. Probably starving. They seem to be stunted from what I read and don't get very large. The ones we caught were about 6-9 inches long. Check it out I made a short video of some of the action. It was very windy that day and hard to fish in the kayak with all the gear on board.
