    Warm water and dams are bad for Bull trout for sure. Reintroduction of them to California in the current water management scenario probably wouldn't be worthwhile. Some day though!

    Few people remember there were bull trout in the McCloud River here in California-- they died off when the dams went in. I understand there are are still fish of a genetically similar strain in Oregon near Crater Lake. I would love to see the DFW try to reintroduce them to the McCloud (heck, the wolves are back!).
