Well thats a good way to make people hate you. OK maybe envy you.

Glad to know you're taking advantage of great spots close by. Folks always talk about the good old days. Seems there plenty of fine days to be had now, with a little thinking and hustle.

Thans for leaving enough bread crubs for the ambitious to follow.

Thanks guys it a 6 tenths of a mile hike off a 4X4 dirt road. I'm there in 12 minutes from where I park my truck. The water temp was 68 degrees and I swam across it when I got hot and it felt so good!!

    Cutts at 8,498 ft.

I fished a lake that's right on the top of the tree line. It's part of the head waters of the North Fork of the Mokelumne. I found it deer hunting 13 years ago and the only other people I've ever seen there was an older couple skinny dipping. There is no trail going to it so you have to follow a series of game trails to get there. I fished today from 11-2 for 17 cutts and lost just as many if not more, 1 on a small gitz-it 1 on a hopper and the rest on a Harts Dark Lord 24" under my hopper. Here's some of the better photos.
    The set up.

    The lake.

    Wild Cutts!
