Re: A word from and for the Wise On Folsom Releases

Advice I got from my grandfather as a kid. When a person gets a strong notion in their head, they'll find ways to convince themselves it's true in everything they see.

Took a while to figure out what he meant, but changed the way I think of things once I did.

    To each their own.

If your just mad about higher water bills then that complaint would be better off served directed elsewhere. If you really want to see something changed get out and actively work to do so (don't know if you already do or not) otherwise your just like that person at work who just complains all the time and brings everyone down instead of actually trying to do something about it.
Yes I did know that it takes time to change the Reg's but I also know that process was started when they initially started looking into the changes they were going to make to the new spillway and yes they were very aware of the cost for changes in the reg's. No I'm not *****ing about higher water bills but the utter lack of not getting things done, as far as actually doing something about it I'll write a nice letter to "Moonbeam Brown", he'll fix it like the tunnels.

my little coastal creek has been about sucked dry already...with this warm weather and thousands of surrounding acres running sprinklers the last week we need about 10 more inches of rain to just keep it somewhat flowing through april.

Okay, they have spent millions of dollars on the spillway so its easier for them to control, now it's time to throw away their 30 year old flood control manual and implement some common sense but obviously they are still as dumb as a box of rocks. It would be nice in September to be able to water my yard because we actually still have water in the lake.

I think Folsom will fill up again soon with all that snow pack! It was a nice to not have this type of thread for the last month or so with the FLOODS. We have plenty of water this year so let our rivers rip for our fish and to prevent more damn dam failures.
    Here they come!
