    Phenix abyss 808
    Cal star gfr 800m
    Cousins glb8030
All good choices for trolling and sturgeon
Sounds like your building a 1 for all rod, maybe move up the phenix black diamond? Lighter, faster action for chucking lures

    Calcutta 400 help

Hi everyone. I just bought a shimano Calcutta 400b and i also bought a power handle aswell. I am having a problem finding a rod to match it for my needs. I was wondering if anyone on here would have any advise. I would use this reel for trolling for halibut. When i troll for halibut i use 20oz. Give or take. fishing from piers with live bait for halibut. Sturgeon fishing from a boat n from shore aswell. I tend to throw lurse for stripers too. I know i am asking for alot in just rod . Weight isnt a issue for me . I dont mind throwing a heavy rod/reel for lures. I know it alot to ask for in just one setup but i dont want to have room for alot of rods n reels. I was looking at the phenix abyss series. But before i pull the trigger i wanting peoples input.

Thank you guys for your time
