    When I was a kid, we used to fish for bullhead and channel cats and strippers with salted clams in the Port of Sac and deep water channel. We bought them at local bait shop. I don't remember the brand, though. The salt toughened them up, as well... if I remember correctly.

    Any ideas where to get them? (If it was in the video, I missed it, but I've been ridiculously busy this morning....). I would imagine you could just salt your own...
