    Nice! Glad you had fun out there. It's a small fishery, but oh so scenic. Try to get out there in the dead of winter on a foggy day.

    mokelumne river fishing?

    River was great time... hooked three little ones a nice 16" and got to see a big one I hooked only for it to spit the hook all in all a great time on the water

    Thanks for the info guys! Ill bring my light gear, and keep my salmon gear in the car just in case I spot some large fish! Going to launch around the hatchery...

    I have done well with spinners like panther martins and drifting worms years ago below the hatchery. Never caught anything larger than 2# myself but have buddies that caught salmon out of the river as far up as Linden

    They're trout. A big one is 3#. On occasion in winter you'll see a 6# caught, those are the true steelhead that come up from the ocean. Most of them are just resident trout. Lots of squaws in there too.
