Not at all, they're not very populous any more, and now planted as triploids.
It used to be great, now it's a niche fishery. Like most places, 10% of the fishermen catch 90% of the kings out of Folsom.
Folsom has the potential to be an outstanding freshwater impoundment if the powers that be wanted it to.

I have however, caught two very nice trout averaging 3 to 4 pounds, one took a Hopkins spoon jigging and the other a Kitech swim bait. My gut tells me that the remaining fertile kings are all but gone. Pretty sad when the Hatchery is less than 5 miles down stream and the lake is FULL of bait fish. Those planted Triploids have really made a difference, BULL****. Whalonem
