    Turns out the motor that lowers my boat motor broke, it was working last time I used it. Good thing I checked before going out, I'm going to get it fixed, but till then I'll probably just stay home.

    Sturgeon eat shrimp, it's available this year( even grass shrimp)

    Funny thing about superstitions. They're true when they work.

    Never heard of male / female sturgeon being bait selective, but who knows. I do know eel and roe both work so do what works for you.

    Let us know how you did.

    The thing is he limited out on females with his kids, I think he paired the eggs with something else, but he wouldn't tell. Otherwise he said that he only threw out eggs because he has never in his years of sturgeon fishing caught a female on eel, so far that has stayed true to me too, but I'm fine with catching males so I'll throw probably mostly eel.
