Unfortunately the manual is in Japanese.

FWIW, I don't think whether it will work or not is an issue but possibly how long you can fish it in a day. Think electric trolling motors and 24, 27 or 29 batteries. They all have different amp hour rating. They all work but for different lengths of time before requiring recharging.

How do I figure out the amperage on the electric reel?

Would something like this work? It's about the size of a brick.

smaller battery for forcemaster 400 electric reel

    Hi,

I just bought the shimano forcemaster 400 electric reel.

I can power it hooking it up to a car battery. Can I get a smaller battery so it's easier to transport?

Any suggestions on details of a smaller batteries I can use?

    Thanks,

    Tri
