Limpets can pass for poor man's abalone and they are quite tasty. Learned about them while in Hawaii. You can find them along the coast. Moonsnails; which can get pretty large, also have a similar texture and flavor. I've found them beachcombing in the past. Just be sure to be conscious of current regulations. I believe they cannot be harvested north of SF.

You could use oyster sauce from any Asian section in most stores too. Sounds good to me anyway.......Jetspray

Marinate turkey breast slices, bout 1/4" thick in clam juice minimum 5 hrs. Bread and fry like you would abalone. I used Foster Farms breast slices. Pretty dang tasty.
