    The carp are THICK in Folsom lake being that not many fish for them. I've found that in springtime as well as summer, the flats with sand bottoms and a little bit of canned corn will give you hours of fun. And no, carp taste great as long as you cook them correctly (as with anything).

    I'm going to Folsom Saturday morning hoping for some trout, but I'd take that carp too!

    Nice catch. Till u throw that carp on a skillet you’ll never know if it’s good. Just take your time eating around the bones. You’ll be surprised how good they actually taste. I’ve eaten carp my whole life and I’m still alive! 🤠

    wow that's a fantastic pull. i'm down south, but was up around folsom for a couple of days last year for my brother's wedding. was tempted to try to squeeze in a couple hours lol
