    Have to move a hatchery. Truck or cannon fish over 2 dams, provide water to those forks
    Grow smolts and then truck them below nimbus
    Probably cheaper to buy valley farm water rights and send the water down the river instead

    With all the money spent to improve Folsom Dam (post 9/11 and dam failures) how much more would it have cost to install a fish ladder/escalator there and at Nimbus Dam. Then there would be like 150 miles of spawning grounds re-opened.

    Read section 1.53 Inland Waters of the Freshwater regulations witch excludes San Fransisco bay. That is defined by 27.00 of the saltwater regulations (i.e., west of Carquinez Bridge). Ugh why do we need to refer to two different regulations to answer one question?

    I'm assuming what Mr. Shaffer means by "spawning grounds" is a bucket in the hatchery.
