Hey SteelyMan, probably won’t be hunting this season. My lab has some soft tissue injuries and an acl problem and don’t think he’ll be able to do the strenuous activities associated with hunting. In addition my long time hunting partner passed away and another hunting partner moved away. So looks like I’ll be concentrating on fishing. I’ll miss it but it is what it is.

What to do With Unwanted Ammo in Calif.

I went through the my shotgun ammo and found 25 or so box’s I want to get rid of I just won’t be using. I’ve got 6 or 7 box’ of #8 lead good for trap/skeet, a couple boxes of #6 lead can still use in calif for pheasant at pheasant clubs this next season, and around 15 boxes of steel waterfowl B.B., #2 and #3. I’d like to either sell it real cheap or even give it to someone but I believe current California law doesn’t allow me to sell or give the ammo away. Anyone got any ideas?
I believe I could legally take the ammo out of state like to Nevada and give or sell it to someone but that’s 3 hours of driving one way and a hassle. Damn I hate these idiot California gun/ammo laws.
