Twin lakes Bridgeport, either one would be fine. Both have marinas boat launch boat rentals cabins stores restruants. Kokanee rainbows and browns. About 7500’ elevation nice and cool. The scenery is unmatched and it will be the coldest water you will fish in California. Especially during the summer. Just got back from 9 day trip and I will be loading my smoker tomorrow full of fish.

Wear your PFD you fall in your going to freeze.
    Have fun!

What he said!!!! Upper Twin, Mono village, (Robinson Creek). It's great for kids, but watch the bears, keep your food put away. Big browns from the beach during the koke spawn, use small silver/blue spoons, in the evening. let them fall to the bottom and twitch them back!

    Re: Camping/Trout fishing

How about a little more information like general preferred area, fishing from a boat or shore, bringing kids, comfort level etc. etc.
theres a hundred plus places like that in California . Need to know more specifically what you are looking for.
