Cool if I were going to go over the hill to fish Robbie I would contact you for sure. Easier to do that than drag a boat over 88, I only go as far as Silver lake with the boat.....Jetspray

    Robbie,
I made a solo trip out to Comanche today. Landed 4 nice trout, landed and released 4 bass.(Wha theey are doing so deep is a mystery to me). I also lost 3 other fish. All in all, a very nice day.

Thank you for your help again.

    Rich

Nice going Robbie. I went to Camanche today. 2 weeks ago I caught limits there. Today my wife and a neighbor couple got a couple bass, a couple hit no stick and a couple ldr’s. Did the usual speedy shiners, 2.8 to 3.2 mph. I was marking them between 40 and 55’ and fished the river channels. They just didn’t want to play today. Off the water at 11:00. I’m done with lakes until late September, gonna concentrate on the Delta.

I agree with you folks it was a great show, but the show of Eagle Lake trout is above that in many places. They have the taste of Salmon on the Ocean, no doubt. Every time I talked about that fellas would argue but were wrong. Taste to most of us is important no matter who eats the fish, and Eagle Lake Trout are on the upper columb of that..........Jetspray
