Much of the gear we use at Pyramid is Salmon Gear, just had to switch boxes first time I went. Hoochies work there too same size as Salmon......Jetspray

Siwash was a real thing a few years back at Pyramid, I still have some lures with that on them. As far as ditching trebles it is a matter of taste and how you use them. I personally did not like trebles when I fished years ago, but with different types of fishing they have an advantage....I'm just sayin'...….Jetspray

I have some siwash on my Pyramid gear, but all of my gear has a small thick split ring, then a S-Pro swivel, then another split ring same thickness, then a VMC sure set hook. Since everything at Pyramid has to be barbless the VMC sure set hook does the job. When the fish sees the boat the death twirl is on, no matter how much they swiggle and swaggle and twist and turn, you just keep the line taught and the VMC swivel combo brings them in. If you look at size 8, 7, 6, S-pros you will see the weight limits and they are high like 80 lbs...…...Jetspray

It’s better to be fishing and thinking about God then to be in church thinking about fishing.

What size split ring? I was reading some other formums where everybody seemed to agree that a small enough split ring was not strong enough.... and a strong enough split ring would be too large.

    Flying C hook replacement

What is the best way to replace rusted out hooks in flying c lures?

    (without rebuilding the lure)
