    Frenchman Res 11/3

Fished Frenchman for the first time in 30 or so years. We had 2 boats working. The Dam launch was closed but the north end ramp was open. Water was down about 15 feet, but no problem launching the Rogue Jet 21 Coastal. Between our two boats and 5 guys, we landed over 50 trout! (my clicker counter on my boat read 26) . They were all over the place -- near the dam, off the dam launch, in the narrows, etc. We had success on small Tasmanian devils, Excel and #2 Needlefish spoons, Sockeye slammers, and even dodgers and worms. Most were caught on brass/red or copper colors. Deepest we caught was 14 feet -- most were right on the surface. Water temp was 51 degrees -- air temp was a cool 24 when we launched. All rainbows from 12 to 18 1\2 inches and beautiful. We will go back soon.
