Already plenty of fish caught North of Knights landing in December. Get out there.
    Here they come!

We are getting close. March / April is prime time around Sacramento as the big girls go upstream to spawn.

Fish can be found in the system right now, but you'll have a better chance in March/April. Plus, if you're a boater, it's dangerous on the river right now with all the trees coming down. We had a big one hit us on the last trip while anchored. The flows are super high, theres a lot of weeds, grass, and leaves in the water, and it takes more weight to hold bottom. That shouldn't be as much of a problem next month & April.

I hooked into an oversized last month between Discovery Park & Verona. But no luck on 4 trips since then.

Just curious, are we there yet? Used to catching sturgo's in the salt, never even thought about river fish until I landed in Sac. county. Anyone fishing? Would have already tagged out if still fishing bayside. Willing to trade info on bay dino's for river fish. Thanks!
