    Re: Jon Boat Modifictions

I had to replace the pedestal on my boat last year, it works great and I purchased it from Overton's. You would also have to buy a seat and secure it to the bottom of your boat, they have different sizes and costs......Jetspray

    Jon Boat Modifictions

I have a Lowe 1648 that has a factory front deck, carpeted floor, a side console and a carpeted rear deck. I'm looking for ideas for:

Front seating. deck seat is too low to fish and pedestal is too high to run up the river. Considering installing an adjustable pedestal right behind the front deck but don't want to loose so much floor space.

Live well/fish storage. What do you use? ice chest or built in.

    Side storage ideas.
