    Good to see you back.

What keeps me in California are my kids, grandkids and great grandkids plus the variety of fishing...ie lakes, Delta and ocean.

    Cool Experienced Lifer

Hi all, I'm new to this forum but know a few folks here. I'm a former Calif resident and been residing in Utah for the 20yrs. Use to live in Sacramento and worked at McClellan AFB until it closed. Relocated to Oklahoma City to Tinker AFB in 1997 and relocated again to Ogden UT to Hill AFB in 1999. This is where I planted my roots now and retired from DOD in 2011 after 38yrs as an aircraft crew chief and supervisor in the F16 Flight Test section. I still have family in Sacramento as my 2 sons live there. Fishing is phenomenal here in the intermountain west but I do miss the coastal region of northern Cali for deep sea fishing and crabbing. The closest I can get to any salt is the elusive blue shark on the Great Salt Lake and brine shrimp.
