    I'd go with super slick or better yet Fins 40G in 25lb braid as its 4lb diameter. Or use phenix hydra in 10lb

    Power Pro Super Slick is what I use. It's a little more expensive than the regular power Pro but I get much more casting distance with the Super Slick. Line weight, leader length all depends on what your fishing for. Sometimes I don't use a leader at all.

    Braided Line Help

    I'm going to put braided line on one of my reels this year. I'll be using spinning gear and casting a lot from the shores of lakes. I'll also be casting from my inflatable pontoon, and doing some top line trolling. I assume 6lb. braid would be the best for my fishing style. What braided line do you guys recommend? Do you tie on the fluorcarbon leader with a nail knot? How long should the leader be?
