Fish Sniffer Staff

Meet The People Who Make It All Happen!

Allen Bonslett Allen Bonslett
General Manager
916.685.2245 EMAIL

Allen has been working at the Fish Sniffer for over 20 years now, and took over the helm recently this year when Fish Sniffer founder Hal Bonslett, his father, passed away. Allen is responsible for the "look" of the Fish Sniffer "print edition" which he created years ago.

The Fish Sniffer staff is a creative and talented group used to making decisions. However, when the issues or conditions get a little tough, we all know Allen is the man you talk to. He is the person who sets the tone for the quality and editorial direction for the Fish Sniffer publications.

Much of the content you see on this website is a credit to Allen's foresight.

Dan Bacher Dan Bacher
Editor
916.685.2245 EMAIL

Known as "Dangerous (don't give a fish a chance) Dan" to the fish and out-of-line government agencies, Dan, like all of us, fishes and writes about it. Dan does the tough research and interviews it takes to write the hard hitting editorials and action alerts you read on our pages. His years of experience dealing with fishery issues provide the impetus required to get anglers involved in political action. As Editor for the "Fish Sniffer Print Edition", Dan oversees production of the paper while making sure unique timely content arrives to the Fish Sniffer Online.

And by god, the star is Tahoe!"
