For years I have made my on Rock cod rigs, it is my belief that you are only allowed to per rod . Am I correct as I believe I am or has Cal slipped another one by me since I live in Nevada and can't keep up with Arnold. As I said all of the ones I make are just two hooks, I just need to verify, and my lawyer wasn't around to interpet the Cal Reg book.

You are correct, only two hooks are allowed for rock cod/ling cod.

yes 2 hooks only for rockies.....
while there are still lots of rigs sold with more,
you must cut or remove the extra hooks......
as for the shrimp fly jigs.....
there old school.....

to get a boat load of quality cod try these new
baits from storm......
they come 6 to a pack and last long time...
I thread a 2/0 hook through the head with 6/8"
leader tied to the main line add a little chovie scent
if you want or they work well bare.......
simply lower in and reel up,
I have found them to be superior over baits even.....

this is a pic of them, and while there are other styles too
for drop shotting bass, all work great.....
these are as realistic as it gets.......

Thanks for the information Blue.

I found this on bass-pro

Is this what you use in the smaller sizes/ packages?

allen, those are the freshwater series...
slick88 got it...
storm shows the ones on here, but also makes them in saltwater form
which looks like herring,anchovie,mackrel,smelt......
they look the same as in the pics just saltwater fish....
there are other small minnow imitations too out there.....
storm just has a great price on them,
I have seen them cost double or more for bass stuff......
