Hey Everyone,

I was gonna try and check out Decker Island for hunting but I read that it was closed to the public: Sacramento River / Public Access Sites / Decker Island Wildlife Area (http://www.sacramentoriver.org/access_site.php?access_site_id=261#)

However, in the 2012-2013 Waterfowl Handbook, it says that it is open and a Type C area. Has anyone ever checked it out/ can anyone confirm if it is closed at this time?

Thanks!

They've been quarrying it for last couple of years so I don't there's any hunting allowed there http://www.anglernet.net/forums/images/smilies/scratchead.gif .

DFG says it's closed due to vegetation studies. The wildlife area is only on a small part of the island.
