Today I had 8 of my family members with me aboard the Flying Fish out of the Berkley Marina. We fished with 12 other anglers from all over the place. The Captain, Capt. Brian was top notch and the best on putting us on fish. We left at 6 am and two hours later and at 20 to 21 mph according to my hand held gps, we were at the Islands. This boat was fast even passing up the Catermarans along the way. We stopped just short of the Islands and caught Sand Dabs for ling food. At the Islands we caught a boat limit of rock fish real quick and a short ride just north we boated 8 lings up to my guess would be 17 pounds. The weather was beautiful with flat as a pancake seas. We caught rockfish on P - line brand fly setups and lings on Sand Dabs. I would recomend fishing with Capt. Brian on the Flying Fish to anyone.

Good Luck

Sounds like a good trip, calm seas must make that trip a lot better.
