Easy Limits of trout on Saturday! Fished by dam for only two fish, followed the shoreline for a while and found a great school. Couldn't keep them off the lines. We were trolling micro flashers or a dodger with night crawler. Best down rigger depth was 15-18ft. All nice fish, but no big ones! Lots of fun and awesome for dinner.

Sounds like a good time. Fishing should be great for awhile as long as it doesn't rain. Thanks for the update.

Nice job, McClure doesn't usually have giant fish, but the numbers are usually good. Thanks for the report.

Anybody think this rain will slow the fishing down? With how low the lake is that could be quite a bit of mud running off the hills and dirtying up the water? If anyone goes this week please report. Planning another weekend trip coming up.

My best day @ McClure was in the pouring rain :) it was raining hard when we got there @ 5:00 so we set up a quick shade a tarped of 2 sides for shelter. T his fish were hitting our powerbait before it even hit bottom. T he fish don't care about the rain, they're already wet, lol. Crawlers are king after a rain storm.
