I don't know any spots down by Santa Cruz, but there is a spot a bit closer at Oyster Point. Also arround San Leandro marina and Alameda. Hope that helps.

Just follow the signs to Sausalito and follow the waterfront and you will see this spot. There is alot of fishing room here. So if there are other people here don't worry, you will still catch fish. There is also a lot of (talent) walking around if you know what I mean. :o Oh I almost forgot yes squid was the magic bait. We probably had 30 to 40 bites and missed quite a few fish!

Thanks for the pics and report. I was just down that way and wanted to get my line wet but had other obligations. >:( Did u happen to see the dude who stacks rocks, really cool. Sure is a battle to land those rays! I once fought one for an hour or so at the Alameda Rockwall, had to be 40lbs +. Maybe I can sneak down and get my saltwater fix!

I guess I am opne of the few that curses loudly when a ray is on the hook.... Dont like them at all

I sometimes go to fort baker & yellow bluff for some shore fishing and on my down there I usually see some people fish the rockwall in sausalito.... what is being caught there? Are they targeting stripers, halibut?

"talent' meaning hookers? That suprises me that Sausilito would have street walkers, seems too hoity-toity to have that kind of scene on it's shore-walk.

They must just hook as an ART FORM *in Sausiito

Just talked to my brother. He is there right now . I was supposed to go tonight but I had to work late (damn work always gets in the way) but I will be there on sat night. He is doing well they have 5 sharks and 3 rays for about two hours. Also talent means eye candy not hookers although those are fun to look at too. ;D
