Went on a camping/riding trip this past thur, fri, and sat. Decided to do a little fishing on thurs afternoon. I fished for about an hour and a half and was able to catch 4 rainbows and one brown using a yellow grasshopper. The smallest was 11-12in and the biggest was 17-18in. Hooked another 5 or 6 but were lost. Also found a few other places to fish while we were on our rides, but wasn't sure on regulations.13713137121371113714 Looking forward to going back later this year!

From your photos, it looks like you were in the section of the river known as "The Elbow."

Is that correct, if it is, you were fishing in Nevada.

Yup fully aware of my location. We found a small lake and a couple high elevation streams northwest of the east walker river that I assumed werent open yet. Not sure of the names, need more research...
