I know I have seen this posted here before somewhere either in the salmon or general saltwater discussion, but I wasn't having any luck using the search function.

What website do you guys use to look up the local weather? I know there is a coast guard website and I think a few others. If on of you could let me know I would appreciate it.
Thanks,
Gerry

I thought there was a coast guard website you could look up as well with a lot of that stuff: wind, waves, tides, swells, etc...

I use the following links when I run out of Bodega.. the links can be found at Bodega Bay Surf Shack (bodegasurf.com).. the weather links are there. If it sucks for surfers, I'm heading out fishin!

5 Day Swell Forecast (http://facs.scripps.edu/surf/nepa.html)

Coastal Waters Forecast (wind, swell, period, etc..) (http://www.wrh.noaa.gov/total_forecast/marine.php?marine=pzz550)

The swell forecast is pretty cool as you can see the color representation as it progresses through the week.. Hope it helps!

http://www.wrh.noaa.gov/mtr/ Has everything. You can check bouys, tides, sattilite, etc.

I like www.wunderground.com. Enter in the city, and when it comes up you can click Marine Forecast. I use it extensively when I go out of Carmel. The swell height and wind rating has been pretty accurate.
