Talking about the eyelet that screws into the wood or splitrings (small circle thing)?

Im talking about running from nose through the plug to the end. I want to put an eye on the from and one on the back but have them connected through the plug. So the fish isn't pulling on the wood but on the wire its self.

Oh, if it's just stainless steel wire that you form loops yourself then FW has it. The ones used for spinners have one closed loop already so you'd only have to form one end. They have the stainless steel leaders that you could cut and form yourself too.

Not sure if that's what you are looking for or if there is something more specific for plugs.

I use music wire. Some people use stainless wire and a former. You can even use brass wire from a roll, just make a jig with a 2x4 and some nails.

It might be. thanks I will check it out.

Stainless single wire (not stranded) leader material is what I use.

Heres a helpfull tip: You can buy the tool to make the loops if you want but I just drive pop riviets into my bench top and wrap around it. Different sized pop riviets produce different sized loops and they rotate which makes it really easy to twist or wrap the wire. Different sized finish nails with the heads cut off work also but they tend to bend over time. Not like its expensive to replace them or anything but it can be frustrating.

Make sure you file down the cut end of the wire so it's smooth all around. This will deter line chafing and cutting if the line gets wrapped on the loop.
