Brother and I managed 7 fish the first day, and 6 the next. One King about 14" biggest rainbow going 18" and 1.75 lbs. Weighed in 5.13 lbs day one, and 3.6 day two. Did get our 1st Pitt river strain wich was on the bucket list, so that was cool. Did enjoy a great tri tip dinner, and one of the best caesar salads I've ever had. Was a very classy tournament, and we had a great time even if we didn't win anything.

Called out for Trollin Olin, but didn't hear back. Saw Cal and he autographed some FishSniffer magazines for the kids. THey were very excited to see what I brought them home.

Myself and 2 buddies had a great time fishing our first trout derby. We ended the day Saturday with 8 kings and 2 bow's. Kings were all between 1.5-4.1# Our 4.1# king ended up being the big un' of the derby! Sunday was a different story for us. Not 1 king to the boat but managed 4 nice bow's to 2.5#'s. Our weights were 5.99# sat and 6.14# sunday. We had a great time and plan on fishing this event for years to come!! Team Real addiction had a great time at the shasta tournament as well. Day 1 weight in 6.3 I think day 2 4.77 total was 11.3 lbs for 2 days. We were there for four days. Thursday we had a okay day a mix of kings and trout. friday Day 2 alot of trout 25 to the boat just no big fish over 1.3. No kings either. Sat day 1 tourney got into the trout 28 to the boat again this time a little better fish 1.6 to 1.9 lbs and a brown just under 2lbs. No kings that killed us. Sun day 2 tourney got into the trout in the morning went thru a dozen or so and than went for bust. we had 2 make a move and find bigger fish. Well nothing wanted to play in the spots we were at. we did upgrade a fish on sunday by moving but not by much.

It was a great event again in will be back in oct. Nice to see old friends and meet some new ones.

Thanks to our team we had a great time. Food Fun and fishing. It doesn't get much better than that.

Sorry Mike, I heard the call a few times during the weekend and I guess my radio has selective transmitting, I called back a few times and didn't get anything back either, but I did get some feed back on a radio check so you may want to check your radio too. Sorry I wanted to meet up with you guys and say hello.next time .

Dave nice meeting you up there. This was first time fishing Shasta as well as a tourney and I had a blast. Weighed in at 7.9 day 1 in 10th while Cal and Paul were in 6th with 9 something I believe. Struggled day 2 with only two very small rainbows. Cal and Paul finished 24th but had a real fun time! Will be back for years to come.

Kokanee Power put on another great event at Shasta and Team Kokaneemart come to claim our participants ribbon! :stomper:

Actually Big D and JT represented the Kokaneemart and Mag Tackle team very well by placing 5th overall and climbing the leaderboard from 14th to 5th with over 9 lbs on the final day! Great job guys! Milkman and Rodbender riding in Mikman's new awesome Coastal did pretty well also. MJK and Kokaneemart along with me did okay on the kings but we struggled to get trout (which we can't seem to keep off the hook at Berryessa!) so we didn't place in the $$.

We had a great time and plan to be there again next year. I just wish the lake had some kokes in it!!

Dhumble, we had some success for kings in the big cove near the dam think its called the backbone. Fish were between 55-85' with rolled shad set right behind ball flashers. Also dodgers and cripple lures near the mouth of the mccloud or the pit were picking up some bows in the top 30' of water. Good luck and let us no how you did.
