So the original plan of hitting Ice House this weekend fell through tonight when a buddy got up there to find no available site, so up the road he went. He ended up finding two spots at UVR to hold. I've never been to UVR and will be banking it. Any tips, keys or suggestions for fishing this lake from shore?

Ive had luck to the left of the boat launch and around the corner on the usual Crawler pb kastmasters and where the creek flows in. All the usual stuff from bank should work just stick and move if ya dont get hit find the fish and you should be good. Sorry not the best help but my 2 cents. Good luck and enjoy the beauty and hope ya get into some fish.

Allways did well on the east side of camino cove campsites with crawler on bottom.

Will you be at free sites on the dam side?
Uvr is my favorite place to camp!

We will be out on sunday, looking for some macs.

If the fishing sucks then take a quick drive to Ice House anyways. Or just drink more beer.

I prefer the WestPoint/Camino cove side because the boat launch and camp grounds are free.
Really though its best to find a camp that is only accessible by boat.. the party gets a little crazy in the camp sites.
