Hello fellow sniffers. Heading to tomales bay next Saturday 6-22 with the wife and a bunch of her friends for a day outting at the oyster farm. She gave me the green light to bring my fishing poles. Question is: is there a pier or beach that I can fish off of? And what can I catch there? Thank you.

Pier at Dillons. Dont know what is biting now But have caught crabs , Jack smelt , perch and Bat rays from it over the years Sat will be elbow to elbow as it is the second to last for Dungies.
My favorite spot is the sand bar going out of the bay into Bodega bay. I have caught more Leopards and Bats casting into Tomales using squid or half a perch than anywhere around.
About a 1/3 mile walk but not as crowded.:cheers1:

I would say the pier as well, you can check the Lawsons Landing Fishing Report also. They usually have it updated. I have seen people fishing along the road around the town of Marshall. BBQ Oysters sounds really good.
