Update 6/27/13 - wrong date in title

Me, my pops and my cousin started out rockfishing outside the gate with live bait. A couple lings and some rockfish later we headed to the southbay for some shark. A couple 7-gills, some leopards and a little nap after launching @ 530 in the fog. Called it a day before 2:00. I'll be hunting salmon north of the farallons tomorrow and Saturday.

Nice report! Been fishing the bay a lot of sharks (am going again tomorrow). Its a total kick in the pants.

We fished just south of ATT park in 50ish'. Salmon bellies did the trick once again. I won't even bring squid anymore. Stupid bat rays make life miserable. Lol

I'll be out again tomorrow. Tried the run to Pt. Reyes today and its a LONG haul. Shark fishing is much easier!!

JB we'll be launching out of Berkeley around 7 or so and fishing somewhere from TI down to Hunters Point depending on wind. I have a green Alumaweld, say hi if you see us. Will be monitoring ch 68

I'm in a hardtop aluminum with a white graphic. I'll have my ears on and I'll see south of TI somewhere.

How big is your boat? I have 21.5' NR and have done the bay and really want to run out the gate but am kinda nervous.

I've got a 22' with offshore bracket. You can make it. I went 27 miles outside the gate today. Just pick a good day and know your limitations. What North River you running?

I have an '05 21' with offshore bracket. We have done the bay several times and I have gone out in the ocean on party boat for a long time. Where do you look to decide if the sea is doable for the day?

Just point and click where you want to fish and its gives the forecast. You can handle some decent water in your rig. I've been in 10' swells in mine.
