Nice fish bro! Thanks for the advice the other day. Just wasn't our day. Hooked 2 big slugs but only landed one 25+. Didn't talk with anyone on Sunday who had caught limits. What are the crowbars???

The hooks the party boats use they make the bait spin.

That school of fish is gone... Headed in to spawn. Looks like the party boats are only getting a half a fish a rod the last two days. Have to wait on another school.

Ughhhhh.... I booked a salmon charter tomorrow to catch my first salmon. All reports look hideous lately.

Whose to say the school of fish have gone. They may have pushed out. There has been a good amount of fish coming out of HMB so you never know. You have a better chance of catching fish on the water then I do sitting at home watching the Giant's. Good luck. Hope you get them.

Ok all I'm going to say is we have one hell of a crew. Same place same baits. Today we were inside and by the red can all day (Tennessee cove) 55 ft. Smaller anchovies worked better today. But the grade of fish were smaller 9-12lbs with our big fish at 18. Late start lines in at 1045. Limits by 3. We had 12 bites total. Lots of short bites today. Caught two fish bumping it out of gear and then speeding up once we saw a little tap on the pole. 1602516026
Heres my proof!! Lol

Sounded pretty slow for all the boats. The Sausiluto boats only had 16 fish for 50 anglers. And Emeryville had 9 fish for 19 anglers. Not even a half a fish a rod.

What boat are you running saizo? You are killing it out there.. I got a lot of buddies who have been going out and from the sounds of things you are the only one getting limits? Do you run a charter or just a private?

Private boat my buddy has a Boston whaler 305 conquest. It's a fishing beast!!

We fish hard when we are on the water. Change your baits and check lines often for seaweed or grass. Fluorocarbon leaders. And the 2.5lb balls out fish downriggers 3 to 1. Yesterday our last couple fish were caught in the scum line. Lots of grass and seaweed on the lines. We had to check them every 3 mins. As soon as the cleared line was put back in the water. Wham fish on. Ended the day with a double but we dumped the bigger fish and landed one. But it was ok cuse we only needed one more for limits. There will be bigger schools coming soon. The school from bodega is pushing down from the north, looks like the fish are at ten mile beach and the school from hmb is starting to move north. Once you find fish try and stay with that school until they quit Bitting.

From the reports the blue runner was fishing just south of the channel markers yesterday? How many fish did they have? At the end of the day we saw a couple party boats finishing up at muir that came from the channel buoys.

You've definitely got them figured out, Saizo. The difference between limits and not much to show in the ocean salmon fishing world can often times be zigging when others zag and being meticulous with presentation.
