On our way to loon from Sacramento yesterday morning in Cameron park I thought to myself its getting kind of smoky...then in pollock pines it was like dense fog...I thought oh man hopefully it'll b clear up high or maybe it'll be windy...nope and nope...got six bows only having to keep 3 bleeders all on power egg/crawler behind flashers or copper dodger...did I say it was smoky...lol when I got home I smelled like a campfire

wow thats crazy how smokey it was. Cant wait till the fire is out and the sierras clear up

WOW! I have never seen it like that up there. I saw a webcam of Tahoe and it looked like the fog in San Francisco. Very low visibility. Glad you at least caught some fish. Nice job. Cant be good for the lungs haha.

On another note, I hope they are getting a hold on that Rim Fire.

Rim fire 30% contained and seventh largest fire in California's history now...my buddy left his smokes in the car on purpose

The smoke is awfull.
Reminds me of Camanche in the winter.

Yea it's bad up here. 5am and can already smell the smoke. Day before yesterday was the worst I've ever seen. About 1 mi vis. Canceled th south lake tahoe air show and other events, too smoky. Thay say expect more of the same.

I live up the road from Jackson at 3200 feet and we've had smoke every day since the fire started. It comes in the night and then eases around 2:00 pm, then starts again just before dark.

I live at 4000 ft in Twain Harte, it has been SOCKED in, like fog in the mornings, the kind of fog that people drive 30mph in.

Ready for this to be over.
