Salmon is wfo right now although foggy. Guys are mooching in 60-80 feet of water with herring or anchovies a couple of cranks off the bottom. South of bodega in front of bird, elephant or kehoe is a great place to start. 10 mile beach has plenty of halibut. As does tomales bay.

You might want to get there early if your launching. I expect it will be crowded. Sept through Oct. is the best time of the year weather wise at Bodega.

Thanks guys. I'm camping there at Doran Park. So on the water early no issue. Can't sleep anyway.:inviz6pf:

Mooching @ Bird, elephant or the trees. There will be no doubt where the fish are. There will be 100 boats.

I mooched there yesterday with no love at all. Didn't see any nets flying nor any vhf reports
Best of luck to you.

That's how the reports go, internet fishermen know about the few people that caught fish and give a report, not the other 100 unlike yourself that don't catch nothing and don't admit they went fishing, good fish reports are good for business, good with bad is very much appreciated, Take Care, you'll get them next time.

Fishing isn't always got something on the hook. Just to get out is 1/2 the fun already. Other 1/2 is hook the fish. I admit still haven't got any salmon on my hook this year. But been trying 4 time already.
