So here is the report. Got up around 4 30am on the road about 5 15. Couldn't believe all the fog just north of Marysville on the way down. I had to go 40mph sometimes 30mph it was so bad, I could only see 4 or 5 of the reflectors on road. Got down to Collins and pole in the water at 6 45. First fish on at 6 51 and lost it at the bank. I figured I was getting in the fish and would get out with a limit at 8 00. Not the case as that was the only bite. 3 guys next to me got there around 7 30 and caught 3 on nightcrawlers but it was real slow. I tried All different types of powerboat, kastmasters, spinners and nothing. Oh I didnt have a trout follow my Fire Tiger Rapala all the way to the bank but nada. All in all it was a good day just being on the water. I saw those 3 trout caught the whole time I was there and 1 other boat got one that I saw. There were probably 7 - 8 boats working the island tops near the dam. Ended up leaving around 11 30. I think I will wait 3 or 4 more weeks before I head back out there. Here are a few pictures I got.
