Some info I read about the possibility of future plants of kings and eagle lake strain bows being stocked in Folsom!? Thought I would share with my Trouty brothers, tight lines -TO

I would wonder about mercury levels if the kings took hold up there?

There are still a lot of Kings already in there, and they're fun to catch.

Hopefully they can turn Folsom into a better trout/King fishery. It's so close to the house, I would love to be able to fish it all winter and have it be productive.

They need to do something. Charging 22 bucks to launch is a freaking ripoff.

Yeah, no doubt. I just buy a pass each year, with launching it's $225 I believe. It makes me go out there, and it then feels free after about a month.....

at $225 for an annual pass that still means I need to go 10.23 times. That'll never happen! LOL

That's great news. I hope they start putting some of those triploid kings in the lakes where they stopped stocking kings like Don Pedro and McClure!
