In a couple of weeks me and a couple of friends from work are going to take my boat there. We are going to throw out a couple of crab pots and rings than fish while there soaking. My first question is this, were going to launch at millers park, can you launch on a low tide? I know years ago it was almost impossible, I had to drag my boat 30' across the mud to get it on the trailer. Next what is the limit and size for the Dungeness crab. Last what part of the bay would be best for crabbing. Any info would be helpful. Thanks

I have never tried to launch at low tide but I doubt its doable. It seems the end of that pier is always only 3 or 4 feet deep even around high tide. As far as where to drop, there are depth charts available online as PDF files that I used to create a game plan before going out. check the tides and try to pick a weekend that looks to be in your favor.
Best of luck!
