Where have they made their showing? Anywhere close to Bodega?

There were reports of some boats that were 35 miles out of Bodega and into fish - I heard something like 11 on one boat. You might try the Wills Fishing site & see if they mention the news as it was said some of the participants were going to stop in & give their reports.

My boat is gassed up & ready but I won't head out that far though til the swell comes down a bit more and winds are lighter. Got to get a crew together that's gonna be willing to help pay for $150 or more of gas too. >:(

I heard very similar......was at Dillon's yesterday and saw two different boats come in with a few tuna. They said they caught them 39 miles out.

I'll keep you guys in mind as crew for a future trip - looks like I'm screwed for now as it looks like work just picked up & I'll be busy at least during the week for 2-3 weeks. The bright side is making money to pay those inflated gas prices. >:(

Keep your fingers & toes crossed that they will make a decent showing this year, especially at Ft Bragg - if the warm water pushes way in there and the tuna follow it, you can sometimes catch them within 5 miles of Noyo Harbor. 8)
