Launched at 7 am west-side and ran north, beautiful trip, and scenery and wild life. Saw lots of Whales, many breaching out of the water and we were accompanied by large schools of porpoises for most of the day while we fished. Catch and release all day and limits for three of rockies and lings. Also two limits of Abalone. Pulled the plug at 4:30 pm back at 6:30 pm. *I'm beat !!

Wow, what a day! *I thought you might be wondering what the poor people did while you out havin' such a time. *I cut the grass, pulled weeds, haha. *Anyway, great fish and pix. *What do have to do or say to get the old lady involved. *My wife won't hardly sit on the bank with me on warm summer evening for catfish, let alone get up in the middle of the night to go freeze her buns off on the ocean.
* I don't have the experience yet to take my Bayliner 175 out on the big blue yet. *Over time I'll get the experience and one day get that bigger boat and I'll see you out on the water, who knows, maybe I can get the wife to join me?
Again, nice pics and what a great day!

That's a Canary Rockfish, which is protected. He prolly threw it back. Looks like he just reeled it up for a quick pic. Hopefully.... lol

Thats why I posted it. lol Since there was a prior discussion about canarys last week in this board. Yesterday all Canarys swam away happily, so go figure?

Reel One:
It looks like you had a great time!
How far North did you go? I have been trying to get out but work keeps cutting in on my fishing time!
Thanks for the pics...At least I can see what I should be doing.
