I have been out for rockfish and i seem i cant find any big ones >:(. A little help would be nice to hook up on some big ones. I caught a few 2pounders today off the whistler and thats it. A little hint to where the big ones are would be nice. :)

The only suggestion I could give you is to make sure your banging the bottom with your bait/jig, but I am far from an expert.

Go 32 miles north of Bodega Bay and you will definitely find the big ones. I don't know how big of a boat you have, but it's worth the trip up there. If you're talking about the Bodega Whistle Buoy than the reason you're not catching big fish is that it's an area fished by many boats. Go as far north as possible in about 45 feet of water. Hit the bottom and fish on! ;D
