hello and welcome,

are you planning to fish from a boat or from the rocks or a pier?

From the rocks and the pier. I'm from the east bay so are there any places near here?

Welcome aboard crows...
In Bodega Bay there are many different areas to get them from the shore. Check out the previous posts...They are accessible from the shore.
Good luck!!!!

3 inch Kalin's green/brown grub rigged on a 1/4 ounce leadhead jig. I've slayed black and blue rockfish with this!

Oh, and if you're new to rockfishing, be prepared to bring lots of tackle with you, since the rocks can sometimes bite better than the fish.
