Finally got the boat back. Was wondering if it has come up at all since January first? Giving it a shot in the morning. If not I am going to try launching at the south end.

Topaz RV Park located across from the bug station has opened their ramp to the public. $10 to launch a boat. For more info call Julie @ 530-495-2357.

The lake remains low with the Topaz Resort ramp and the ramp in the park closed.

Right on guys. Thanks for the info. Looks like I will be finding the ramp at the RV Park in the morning. Much nicer having a dock to launch from than fighting the shore.

Skunked. Second time I can remember ever being skunked on this lake, and I have been fishing it since I was little. The boat is still not running right, and it needs a trolling plate. Way too fast. Weather was great. The lake was glass. Water temp was low. 38 degrees. I think they are lethargic. Not interested in chasing anything. Didn't see one fish jump or roll.

Going to to give it another shot when I have the plate on there and can troll slower than 2.5.

Topaz hasn't been kind to me this year. Three trips for 1 trout. There are better options right now in the area.:D

When the action heats up, and I figure the boat out, I would love to get you out.

Thanks for the report... Sorry to hear about the skunk but appreciate these reports just as much. Wish more folks shared the not so good days as well...
