Pretty cool finding from Oregon State University.

They found that baby salmon orient towards the magnetic North pole. When they turned a magnetic field on that was reversed, the fish turned around and pointed South.

The authors suggest that's how young fish know to migrate to their feeding grounds in the ocean.
