I made a post about this style of making beef Jerky and got a few PMs about it so I thought I would post it up fora ll to see.


Taken from Alton Brown on the food network. I saw him do it on his cooking show "Good Eats"

you need to use furnace filters that are cellulose filters NOT Fiberglass filters

I've seen that program also, what a crack up!!, but hey it's gotta work great, some of the things that guy comes up with is like 6 pack cooking. :D

you dont have to use the furnace filters, you can just lay the strips of meat on the trays that you use for a dehydrator, that works too!
