Jetspray picked me up at the North Minden Staging Area at 0440 and we headed north. First up on the CD was a Devo retrospective. Go into the light Bob, go into the light.

Arived at The south shore at Cattleguard at 0630. We wanted to try a less crowded place and we certainly found it here. The weather was warm for late February with little wind. We managed a 22 inch male LCT early but that was to be it for the day. Later on we went up to Spider for a look but were told by others there that the fishing was bad so we didn't fish. Beautiful day. Slow catching. That's ok. Thanks for the ride and the music Dave.

Beautiful pics Richard. I guess even you can have a slow day. I am laughing a little bit though. Just playing...

Great pics, CC.

always nice to explore new water too.

Do you know how long the season (or the catching) goes?

best,

LCT season ends on 6/30 and reopens on 10/1. Boats do well through out the season. Shore is best November through April.

Between April and October you can fish for Sacramento perch, but don't have downriggers in operation, and be careful what you keep.........Jetspray
